Room Concepts
Once each room has been determined, space planning begins to block out interior spatial areas, define circulation patterns, and develop plans for furniture layout and equipment placement. Once there is a clear idea of how the space should function, the interior design team works to integrate those requirements with the client’s desired aesthetic, to create a concept for the space.
Cabinetry & Millwork
Custom cabinetry, mantels, doors, stairs and railings, mouldings, columns and trim are designed with both a functional and aesthetic purpose to enhance the architectural elements of the home.
Reflective Ceiling Plan / Electrical Plan
A reflected ceiling plan is carefully designed to include, lighting locations and switches - indicating the connection to the electrical system. It also includes specifications of the ceiling finishes and details of the ceiling features such as bulk heads. Other items such as exhaust fans or exhaust hoods, Air diffusers and vents/HVAC, Speakers and or other communication devices, Smoke/fire/carbon monoxide/fire protection/alarm devices are also noted.
Interior Plumbing Fixtures and Finishes
Plumbing fittings & fixtures are the means for safely using water in the home. These are the valves, faucets, toilets, shower heads, drain stoppers and basins of your plumbing system. Style and functionality are carefully considered for each space.
Flooring and Tiles, Slabs, Hardware
These essential details add character and personality to your home. With a keen eye these can be chosen to highlight each space opening up the opportunity for unique patterns, colours and textures.
Furnishings
Furniture selection is based on style, size and budget to best coordinate with the architecture and colour scheme of the interiors and to reflect personal style and taste. Pieces are presented for approval, and all orders, delivery and placement are managed internally.
